Weight Management



Well, last Friday I was down 5 lbs then I gained 3 lbs over the weekend. So far this week I have lost 2 lbs. So, I am at 183 lbs right now.

We are planning on going to the State Fair on Friday. I will need to not go crazy eating there. We used to go and eat Cheese Curds, Pizza, lots of pop, ice cream, cookies and milk. My plan this time is to eat Corn on the Cob and either Steak, Porkchop on a stick, or a Turkey leg…

On a side note, I haven’t missed a workout!!

5 down, 25 to go



Well, it is day 6 and I am down 5 pounds so far. My will power is almost at its peak. I am able to pass up the bad food, just can’t seem to pass up the beer just yet.

The workouts have been great. I have been sweating like crazy and having a hard time climbing stairs the next day at work. The only change to the P90x workout I have done is replaced Yoga with CardioX.

Monday’s post will be the important one as I always lose weight during the week, it is the weekend that usually kills me. I think I will do good this weekend, even with my wife’s birthday and a benefit that I am going to…

Afterburn day 1 complete!



Today’s workout felt tougher than last nights workout but I finished it. Tonight will probably be really tough as it is Plyometrics…

P90x Day 1 complete



I did the Chest and Back along with the Ab Ripper X today. One down, 89 more to go. Tomorrow morning the plan is to do the day one workout of Afterburn.

My starting stats are:
187 lbs
42 inch waist

Warm-up week



I threw this idea out there before and this week I am doing a warm-up or “Preview” of it. The idea was to do Afterburn / P90x / Atkins to see how fast I could lose the 35 or so pounds I need to lose. I am doing a couple of each workout this week, but starting Sunday afternoon, I will be doing P90x classic with Afterburn I starting Monday morning.

Atkins will start on Monday also, but I am weening myself off the carbs throughout the week. It won’t be strict Atkins though, as I will need some carbs for the workouts.

Back again..



Well, I had been out of it for a month due to a bad shoulder. The chiropractor finally approved me working out again. I was going to go crazy and start a custom workout based on a mixture of P90x / Afterburn / Atkins / V-diet, but decided to ease into it with Afterburn and Atkins for now. I am doing strict Afterburn, but more of a protein diet than an Atkins diet. I started today at 186 lbs and a 42 inch waist.

3 weeks later…



…Same old thing. I have been getting a workout in each morning, but still no HIIT. My strength has gone up, but I still have a gut and weigh the same.

Update



So far I am loving working out at home. It is too bad I paid for my gym membership in full (18 months). I haven’t lost any weight yet, but I am starting to feel stronger. I need to do some cardio (HIIT) at the gym…
